My first new learning BLOGGER - I have never done a blog before.  This weekend I created my blog and have put some posts on it.  I can not relate this any prior learning.

PADLET:  I read about Padlet in the course book "Amplify! Digital Teaching and Learning in the K-6 Classroom." by Katie Muhtaris and Kristin Ziemke.  I then went onto my son's teachers class page to look at how he utilized Padlet with his students.  I have put the idea of using Padlet in my Scenario for my class project  TRANSFORMATION SCENARIO and plan to use it for students to answer the questions "What makes a meal healthy for my family?".  I can not relate this to any prior learning around technology - this is new learning.

TWITTER:  we created accounts last year in class, but I have not used my account since.  Today we learned how to tweet and how to add #Waterbury2 so that all our group can follow our tweets.  I friended some people too from our course.  This experience helped me to take my prior learning and expand it beyond what I was already doing with this form of social media.

ISTE STANDARDS:  I noticed while looking to include these standards in my TRANSFORMATION SCENARIO, that they have been updated.
